PHOTOGRAPHY
Image Transfer is the process of copying a 35mm slide onto Polaroid film with a slide
printer . The negative is peeled apart and transferred onto watercolor paper,
creating a photographic image. I then apply watercolor, pencil and/or paint creating a subtle
look that blurs the distinction between photography and watercolors. This process is
capable of producing fully rendered images with a beautiful softness, as well as
partially rendered images reminiscent of ancient frescoes.
